From Garden State Parkway
Exit at # 151 (Montclair, Watchung Avenue) and go WEST (if coming from the South turn LEFT at the end of the exit ramp; if coming from the North turn RIGHT). Stay on Watchung Avenue through five traffic lights (Broughton, Broad, Ridgewood, Grove and North Fullerton). After the last light, you will drive through a small shopping district and under a railroad overpass. Turn LEFT after you go under the overpass and you are on Park Street. The church will be on your left about a 1/2 mile.
Take Bloomfield Avenue to Park Street in the center of Montclair (the name of the street is on the light). Turn NORTH on Park Street. Go through three traffic lights (Claremont, Walnut and Chestnut). At Chestnut Street the Montclair High School is on both corners. The church is just beyond the high school on the right side of the street.
From Route 3 East or West, take Grove Street exit. Head SOUTH on Grove Street through traffic lights at Northeast School and Bellevue Avenue. Turn RIGHT at next light for Watchung Avenue. Stay on Watchung Avenue through one traffic light (North Fullerton). After that light, you will drive through a small shopping district and under a railroad overpass. Turn LEFT after you go under the overpass and you are on Park Street. The church will be on your left about a 1/2 mile.
From Route 3 East you can also take the Valley Road (Montclair State University) exit. Head SOUTH on Valley Road through traffic lights at Mt. Hebron and Bellevue Avenue. When you come to Watchung Avenue, turn LEFT. When Watchung Avenue bears RIGHT, continue on it (do not bear left under railroad overpass) and it becomes Park Street. The church is on the left about a 1/2 mile.
...via George Washington Bridge--get on the Garden State Parkway and go SOUTH to exit # 151 (see Garden State Parkway directions above).
...via Lincoln Tunnel--follow the signs for Route 3 WEST. Stay on Route 3 past The Meadowlands Sports Complex and the Garden State Parkway. Exit from Route 3 at Grove Street/Montclair exit. Head SOUTH (LEFT turn) at the end of the exit ramp. Stay on Grove Street through traffic lights at Northeast School and Bellevue Avenue. Turn RIGHT at next light for Watchung Avenue. Stay on Watchung Avenue through one traffic light (North Fullerton). After that light, you will drive through a small shopping district and under a railroad overpass. Turn LEFT after you go under the overpass and you are on Park Street. The church will be on your left about a 1/2 mile.
...via Holland Tunnel--after the Tunnel, keep left in the 1 and 9 lanes. Take the exit right after the Jersey City underpass to Route 280. For a while, this road becomes a two-lane road (landmark is the Postal Distribution facility on your left); then there's another 280 ramp to the right. Take 280 WEST to exit 8B (Pompton Avenue/Cedar Grove). You will go past six traffic lights (end of ramp-two lights in a row, Pal's Cabin, K-Mart Shopping, Woodland Avenue and Sunset Avenue). At the 7th light, turn RIGHT onto Bloomfield Avenue. You will come down the hill into Montclair. Turn LEFT on Park Street (the name of the street is on the light). Go through three traffic lights (Claremont, Walnut and Chestnut). At Chestnut Street the Montclair High School is on both corners.
