SERVICE
Our Social Ministry team is very active throughout the year with monthly projects and one year-long project to help the poor and needy. Some of our ministries include:

- Toni's Kitchen each week, mostly meats and groceries are delivered to St. Luke's Episcopal Church where three meals a week are provided to the needy.
- Visitation of our homebound members of the congregation.
- Food Pantry Congregational donations of food and travel-size toiletry items are collected and delivered to the Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair.
- Red Cross Homemade cookies are donated once a year for use in the blood bank. Following the drive, the remaining baked goods are distributed to The Salvation Army where many people looks forward to this community outreach.
- The Angel Tree is covered with all our angels! Members select an angel which identifies items (toys, clothing, etc.) for children and families in need and are distributed to various programs such as Goodwill Rescue Mission of Newark, MEND of Essex (Meeting Emergency Needs with Dignity) and The Salvation Army, just to name a few.
- Recycled Greetings Cards are sent during the year to St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder City, Nevada. The children recycle them into new greetings and the project enables them to earn "pocket money" as well as fund for trips and expeditions.
- The Annual CROP Walk of Essex County is an interfaith event to help stop hunger in our community and around the world. A portion of the funds (25%) is returned to 14 local food pantries in the surrounding area.
- Goodwill Collection We donate bags of clothing and toys to Goodwill. Their mission is to provide people with disabilities and other work related disadvantages the means to achieve life long economic and social independence.
